Vic served in Vietnam from 25Sep67 - 20Mar68 Base Support Flight/1OSU as an ADG (attachments to Phan Rang for a month and "The Horseshoe" for a week or so. For the six months previous, Vic served with Base Squadron at UBON Ratchatani; and 15 Oct 70 to 14 Oct 71 including the six month stint with 9SQN plus attachments to Phan Rang (one month) and Nui Dat for a week or so.

Vic is now part of the RAAF High Readiness Active Reserve and has been posted in to the Reserve Airload Team (RESALT) Warrant Officer position at Air Movements RAAF Amberley.
